djs Mailinglist

Introduction

This mailinglist brings together people who love DJ-ing. Wheter it is with Vinyl, DAT tapes, CD's or computers. This includes people who learn how to DJ as well as people who have substantial DJ experience. The mailinglist is a non-profit forum with a prohibition on advertisement. No product names or product references are allowed. The preferred emailformat is plain text (no html). Topics of conversation can include

- DJ Playing Techniques
- Learning to DJ
- DJ Experiences
- DJ Marketting Techniques

When subscribing to the mailinglist, it is considered good practice to present yourself with, for instance, the style of music you like to play, the tricks you prefer and how you got to your current level of expertise. Bottomline is to tell us something interesting about who you are.

Requests for 'personal' replies should be kept to a minimum. E.g: I'm DJ xyz, please talk to me' will be deemed inappropriate.

Currently the mailinglist provides a valuable forum for beginning DJ's.

The content of emails can be moderated to remove excessive quotes or off topic discussions as well as unwanted advertisement footers from sending hosts.

Subscribe to djs by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.
